Privacy & Cookies
Short answer
By default this site writes no measurement cookies and loads no third-party content. Visit measurement and the live site showcase run only if you explicitly allow them, separately.
Until you allow it, no request is sent to Google. This is not Google Consent Mode’s “denied” state — in that state a cookieless signal still reaches Google. Here the request is never made.
Data controller
This is Şenol Vatansever’s personal profile site; content and technical operation belong to him. For questions, use the LinkedIn and X links at the foot of the page.
There is no contact form, membership, comment or payment area; you are never asked for your name, e-mail or similar data.
Contact and requests: info@senolvatansever.com. You may send data-subject requests to this address; they are answered within 30 days at the latest.
Visit measurement (requires explicit consent)
Google Analytics 4 is used for measurement. Measurement ID: G-Y1J2ED9KMZ.
Only after you press “Accept” is the measurement script loaded from googletagmanager.com and two cookies written: _ga and _ga_Y1J2ED9KMZ. Both last about 2 years and distinguish returning visitors.
The data measured is page views. Advertising identifiers, Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off in code (allow_google_signals: false, allow_ad_personalization_signals: false); this site carries no advertising or remarketing tag.
Transfer abroad: measurement data is sent to Google LLC infrastructure and may be processed outside Türkiye. Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK art. 9) this is a transfer abroad and rests on your explicit consent.
Enhanced Measurement events: Google Analytics 4’s default “Enhanced Measurement” feature may also collect, besides page views, outbound link clicks (which address you went to), scroll depth, site search, file downloads and video engagement. Because this page links to 17 different external domains, outbound clicks are in practice the most likely event. We state this openly; if you do not allow measurement, none of it is collected.
Retention: event- and user-level data in Google Analytics is configured to be kept for at most 14 months, after which Google deletes it. Aggregated reports may remain beyond that period.
Visit counting from server logs (no consent required)
Independently of Google Analytics, an aggregated visit count is produced from the access logs the server already keeps: daily visitors and page views, language distribution, most-read pages and referring sites.
No consent is requested for this count, because nothing is written to your device and nothing is read from it — no cookie or similar technology is used. The records are created anyway when you reach the server.
To be explicit: even if you decline measurement or choose “Necessary only”, a server record is created and you are included in this aggregated count. This does not mean data goes to Google; the counting happens entirely on this site’s own server, on its own logs.
What is and is not kept: the resulting report contains no IP address. To count the same visitor once per day, the IP and browser string are irreversibly digested with a random value that is regenerated on every run and never stored anywhere; it disappears when the run ends. No individual profile is built and visitors are not tracked across sites.
Legal basis: legitimate interest under KVKK art. 5/2-(f) — understanding which content is read and detecting technical faults. Keeping the raw access logs is additionally a legal obligation of the hosting provider, and the retention period is set by that provider.
How your consent is stored and withdrawn
Your decision is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. Key name sv-riza; contents: the state of both choices (measurement · embedded content), the date and time of the decision and the text version you agreed to (2026-08-19). This record is never sent to a server and stays until you delete it.
The primary way to withdraw is on this site: use the “Privacy choices” button at the foot of every page. When you switch measurement off, the _ga cookies are deleted and the page reloads.
Secondary routes: your browser’s cookie settings, or Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
If your browser blocks local storage (private mode and similar), consent cannot be recorded provably; in that case measurement never starts and you are shown a notice.
Validity of consent: your decision is valid for 12 months; after that you are asked again. In addition, if the version of this text changes your earlier consent is treated as void and you are asked again for the new version — the code enforces this automatically.
Third-party embedded content (separate choice)
The “Digital Showcase” section on the homepage opens sibling sites live inside a frame. These are not screenshots: when a frame opens, your browser connects directly to that site and your IP address reaches it.
Some of those sites run their own measurement code (for example vatansever.org and piyasaizleme.com use Google Analytics). That is why the showcase is offered as a separate choice and no frame is loaded until you allow it.
If you decline, you simply see an information card there; no request goes to the sibling sites.
Hosting provider cookies (outside our control)
The server hosting this site appends its own performance-monitoring script (img1.wsimg.com/traffic-assets/js/tccl.min.js) to every HTML page it serves. That script writes cookies named _tccl_visitor, _tccl_visit and _scc_session.
This insertion is not part of the site package; it is made by the server and cannot be blocked by the consent gate on this page. We state it here for honesty; a request has been raised with the hosting provider to disable it.
So we cannot claim “no cookie is written before consent”. What we can state is: no measurement (Google Analytics) cookie is written and no request reaches Google before consent.
Other data kept in your browser
The quotation pool on the homepage stores the numbers of quotations you have already seen in local storage (sv-hero-own-seen-v3, sv-hero-insp-seen-v3) so they are not repeated. It contains no personal data, is never sent to a server and disappears when you clear browser data.
Fonts and outbound links
Fonts are served from this site’s own server; no request is made to Google Fonts or any other content delivery network.
The pages contain links to LinkedIn, X, YouTube and sibling sites. These open only when you click them; no request is made otherwise.
Legal bases
Visit measurement: explicit consent (KVKK art. 5/1).
Third-party embedded content: explicit consent.
Server access logs: kept by the hosting provider; legal obligation and legitimate interest in system security.
Your rights
Under KVKK art. 11 you may learn whether your personal data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, learn the third parties to whom it was transferred, and claim compensation for damage.
You may withdraw consent to measurement at any time, without giving a reason, from the panel at the foot of the page.
Right to complain: if your request is refused, answered inadequately or not answered within 30 days, you may lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (kvkk.gov.tr). If you are in the European Economic Area you may also complain to the data protection authority of your country.
